Littlest Pet Shop Party

When my daughter turned 4 she was really into Littlest Pet Shop so we went all out and did a pet themed party. We had carrots (bunny bites), gummy worms (fish food), lil' smokies (pigs in a blanket), cinnamon crackers shaped like bugs (bug bites), goldfish (kitty munch) and dog bone shaped cookies (puppy chow). Everything was served in plastic cat and dog food dishes that I picked up at the dollar store.

I also made "pup cakes". A chocolate cupcake frosted and topped with a peppermint patty and m&m's to look like a paw print. I put those on the cupcake tower and added a LPS puppy to the top. They were a big hit!

All the girls were able to pick out their own LPS character and a box to decorate for its "home" using foam stickers, markers, crayons and LPS stickers. They also used tissue paper to make the bedding for their pet inside. I printed LPS coloring pages for them to color and take home along with their pet and box.

The girls all loved decorating the pet homes and it kept them busy for quite a while.

My daughter loved her cake as well.
